【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversatrack-resistantblackcrosslinkedpolyethyleneinsulation,thebasepolymerwhichconsistssubstantiallyofpolyethyleneoritscopolymers.Thisinsulationshallbecarbonblackpigmented.1.2Thistypeofinsulationisconsideredsuitableforuseonwireorcablethatwillbeusedforcontinuousoperationatconductortemperaturesupto90176;C.1.3Thisinsulationissuitableforuseonwireorincableusedforpowertransmissioninoverheadspaced-lineservice,installedattemperaturesabove25andexposedtosunlightandotheratmosphericenvironmentsbetween55and+90176;C.1.4Inmanyinstances,theinsulationcannotbetestedunlessithasbeenformedaroundaconductor.Therefore,testsdoneoninsulatedwireinthisstandardaresolelytodeterminetherelevantpropertyoftheinsulationandnottotesttheconductororcompletedcable.1.5Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarethestandard,whilethoseinparenthesesareforinformationonly.
