【摘要】:Thismethodisfordeterminingtraceamountsofsulfurspeciesinliquefiedpetroleumgases(LPG)orinC5minushydrocarbonstreamsusingagaschromatographequippedwithasulfurchemiluminescencedetector(GC-SCD).Individualcomponentsaredeterminedquantitativelyfromapproximatelyoneto50mass-ppmsulfur.Higherconcentrationscanbedeterminedbyincreasingtheconcentrationofsulfurinthestandard.Iftheentiresampleelutes,theindividualsulfurconcentrationscanbesummedtoreporttotalsulfurinthesample.Identifiedcomponentscanalsobecalculatedandreportedasmass-ppmofthecomponent.
