【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesamethodfordeterminingthepackeddensityofabedofgranularactivatedcarbon.Determinationofthepackeddensityisessentialwhendesigningvesselstoholdthematerialandfororderingpurposeswhenprocuringmaterialstofillexistingvessels.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheapparentdensityofgranularactivatedcarbon.Forpurposesofthistestmethod,granularactivatedcarbonisdefinedasaminimumof90%beinglargerthan80mesh.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
